is the GT Tempest 3.0 2009 model with disk breaks eny gd for downhillin and jumpin? im 14 n bout 5'' 8 ?

Its a good bike for dirt as it has all the right geo. l started out on a Gt Chucker 3 & it worked for me. l hooked my wheel up on jumps alot as l was learning & the frame never craked or nothing broke.
After a year l still had the same tires on & the only thing that broke was the rear derailier because l crashed & landed on it.

Its no good for DH though. l guess ur a beginner right?
Well l used my chucker for everything. like XC (ish) probably what you'd call Dh too but nothing too bad.
