anybody who has brought lights and thought they were bad or poor quality please let me know and please tell me of any good lights thank you if you know rough prices that would be good too.

l bought the specialized hardrock for 445+tax and l didnt really like it the shocks suck and it wasnt what l wanted, so l switched to the cannondale F7 now l love it was for 400$ and really good shocks. so l recommend the F7

l started with a set of Electrons. These r quite cheep at around £40, but offer a good level of control on the burn time (5.5 hrs for the 5w & 1.6 hrs for the 5w + 10w combined). However, l found the conections quite loose on these, which could make riding in woods a bit tricky, as the lights would flicker over rough terain.

l am currently using a set of Cateye Tripple shots. These r a good set of LEDs, rather than Halogens. They pump out about 20w. This has a flat rate of 3 hrs, but the newer version ''R3'' has a low power switch, which increases the burn time to 6 hrs. The NiMh battery is quite good & can be re-charged within 3 hrs. l used these on the Dusk Till Dawn & found that l had good visibility, even into the bomb holes. The fast re-charge time proved valuable in between laps. The Tripple Shot cost £100, since it is last years model. However, expect to pay between £250 - £300 for the R3.

If u want more burn time & great light, Lupine. 6 1/2 hrs at 45w.
