Road riders!How much fun did you have this Summer?With the morning grass becoming frost covered, the leaves changing colors, and the days becoming way too short -- tell us how far you rode.What was your favorite ride this season?
Like blazingpedals l did TOSRV Marietta River Roundevous, Hilly Hundred, Hancock Horizontal Hundred etc.l think my favorite was a group of us doing our own 100 and the first century for one of the group.Seeing someone else accomplish a goal is fun too.My odometers added together come to just shy of 5000.What a great summer for riding in Ohio.

right now it says something in the neighborhood of 4,200 miles. would have liked to have gotten to 5,000 for the year, but l doubt l will do that much cold weather riding.

favorite ride of the year l guess was 114 miles, from my door to hershey park and back. lots of great rides though in lancaster and oley pennsylvania.

Across all my bikes, 5,043 miles as of this morning is ride. My favorite ride was the Seagull Century, a very easy and very fast 100 miles on Maryland is Eastern Shore. There were 6,400 riders. It made me feel like l was part of a swarm.

Over all mileage this year so far…….9000 miles. All if it in Michigan on their Nearly 2000 miles of rails to trails system. My favorite ride was the Father’s Day weekend spent with my daughter riding the White Pine trail from Big Rapids to Reed City, then the Pere Marquette State trail from Reed City to Midland. One other bright spot on the trail is the daily meeting of the day care children toddling along on their morning walk holding the ribbon lead in one hand & a colored maple leaf in the other. We ride right up until the snow gets deep enough that snowmobiles crowd us out. Then wait for the January thaw & maybe get a day in the sun.

So far, 4123 miles. Along the way, l did TOSRV, RAGBRAI, DALMAC, Apple Cider Century, and Hilly Hundred. l do not know if l can choose a favorite; l liked most of them! Hopefully there will still be a few more nice weekends before the snow flies in Michigan, and l can break 4200 miles, which was my goal for the year.
