Okay, so l bought a unicycle a few months back and have been working on getting the hang of unicycling ever since. l can get up with only one walking stick. l can not get more than 10 feet without falling. l can rock while using walking sticks. it is kind of like l lose my momentum and just fall. l need some advice. so l can get good at it.

Do not use the sticks. It prevents you from using your arms to balance which is essential. You need a good clear run and just lean into it as you start peddling. Move your arms and shoulders to twist your body in order to maintain your balance.
Sounds easy does not it?

that is the wrong way(well, not the most efficient). l found that leaning on a car to get on, then try to pedal as far from the car as possible allowed me to find the balance quickly.

Do not use the sticks first make sure its ur size the seat should go up to ur waist. Hold on to a fence then relax. Do not tense up or the it will be harder to pedal. Roll back & forward a little to get the hang of it. When u pedal forward make sure ur hips r forward so the unicycle is straight up. If u feel ready enough to let go just turn aim for something like a curb & start pedaling. When u pedal u want to lean forward with ur hips not with ur shoulders. DONT BE SCARED OF FALLING!!! WHEN YOU ''FALL'' YOU ARE 95% OF THE TIME GOING TO LAND ON YOUR FEET!!! One thing to remember is to not hold on to the seat. It makes u off balance & more tense. Speed will help with ur balance! Keep trying & u will start seeing progress. On average it takes a week to learn so be patient!
