Anyone has comments on the Jeep Compass Mens bike. I just got one.

l believe this is the bike u r asking about.? Or the folding one is about the same.41.5 lbs or so.
It is heavy & not much better than a dept store bike. For the same $ u could have done a bit better. As one previous answer says, keep this one on the road, the weight alone will kill u on a trail. The lower end componets will get u from point A to B but dont push this one too hard off pavement. l would give this one a grade just slightly equal too or barely above that of Dept. store higher end bikes. Sorry but l will not lie & that is what l think.

Not much better than a department store bike? It IS a department store bike albeit with the Jeep name.

Your bike, as noted in the owners manual and ( l think) on the bike, is intended for on road or groomed trails only. no drops, no logs, no boulders, no rough trails. If you are using it for general transportation on the road then it will do as well as any bike from Walmart or Target or other big retailers.
