Okay, so I am trying to get into BMX, and l need some good resources as far as learning flatland tricks for a beginner. Expertvillage is no good, because they really do not do in-depth explanations, and l am, for lack of a better word, somebody who needs a step-by-step guide to doing a trick. Know of any websites, DVDs, or even magazines that could help?

The guy above me posted the link to the review of Matt Wilhelms dvd 'Ground Rules', & he is bang on track there. That dvd is THE best instructional dvd for Flatland on the market today. l bought it when l started riding Flatland 3 years ago, & it made all those tricks that seem impossible. possible!! It starts with simple tricks like Endo's, bar-spins, & forkglides, going up to hard as hell stuff like Time Machines & turbining steamrollers.

My advice. start with forkglides, squeakers, funky chickens, & peg wheelies. These 4 tricks open the door to a LOT of other cool tricks, so spend ur time dialing these ones in. They're all on the dvd, by the way :)
