l have a 56 ranger bicycle with the metal tank, Headlight and horn. Buttons for light and horn are on the tank. It also has a rear book rack with a red dome tail light built onto it. The front sprocket is built up to look like part of a 1950 is rocket.
The electrical needs refurbish but the rest of the bike looks and rides fine.
l would like to refurbish the bike and use it as my ''Pub Crawler''
Any information on the bike would be great. l cant seem to get any hits while searching.

You probably are not getting any hits because the Ranger was part of the Mead bicycle line.

l thought that Mead went out of business in the early 40s but l could be wrong. Go ahead and try a search using ''Mead Ranger'' and you will find a wealth of info.
