Thinking of getting a Full Suspension Bike because Hardtail bike makes my legs hurt when l do stunts. l hope Full Sus Bike can do stunts too.. =)
l can do bunny hop, pedal kick, wheelie and some other basic stunts on a Hardtail bike, Raleigh Mojave 4.0, which has only a fork as a suspension.

A Full Suspension Bike or Dual Suspension Bike has 2 suspensions, one infront and one rear, l do not know if 2 suspension can damage my wheelset if l do stunts and land with a big impact. Because my Hardtail bike l landed around 30+cm down and did not damage my wheelset.

Yes, but it sucks & u have to be pretty highly skilled to pull it off. If u watch Roam or the original Collective dvd's, they have some guys doing amazing stuff in Utah on full-on downhill rigs. Most people do not fully understand it, but those guys deserve huge respect for what they can do. Even a 4'' suspension with good platform damping will take most of the zoom out of ur pops & hops. As far as damage & durability, most xc & am full suspension bikes r not really cut out for stunts other than small drops to a transition. Drops to flat & any sort of lateral impacts can really tear up the linkage & pivots/bearings. Lots of people learn the hard way by ruining their rear ends. Dropping 30cm is nothing, though.that is like one foot! With the exception of the very cheapest wheels, every bike can handle that pretty well. If u start doing drops of more than 30'' or so, then u will want to be sure u have a decent pair of wheels. :o)

A full suspension bike has a thing built into all springs and hydrolics its called rebond. It is actually easier to bunnyhop on a FS because of its rebound it also makes u go higher.

The operator is the one doing the stunt on the bike, not the bike doing the stunt on the rider.
