l have BMXed for a while and can manual well but im having trouble doing back wheel hops with my trials bike any tips for how to on a 26'

this guy is a little silly, but his techniques r really helpful & he has several videos of him learning trials in Australia. http://youtube.com/user/surfcoast
Also, look for the user ''sergitobt'' & starting on page 3 or 4 of his vids, he has lots of Ryan Leech clips from ''Mastering The Art of Trials'' which is an excellent dvd.
If u can stand up on ur balance point, then just try to hop a little.just like a bunny hop, it is all about timing & handlebar motion. Hopping backwards is easier & will come naturally..hopping forwards takes more practice for most people. Make sure ur rear brake is locked in & do not accidentally let it slip when u do not mean to. Wham! :o)
